FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Thursday evening & Happy Halloween!
The weather has certainly set the scene for a gloomy Halloween! But, we’re also seeing the return of some wet weather across Central Ohio. Rain will continue through the evening, but there’s a quick rebound around the corner.
A cold front continues to drag across the Midwest. Isolated showers will remain steady through sundown. Not everyone will see rain at the same time and it will most likely fall as some light drizzle. Models continue to hone in on a more scattered chance to pick up after sundown. This final batch will move in as the front begins its final push across the area. Most Trick-Or-Treaters will be finished for the night before the last of the rain moves in.
Skies are dry and sunny by the time we head into Friday. This is when we will see a bigger cooldown settle into the area. Temperatures will be near normal for this time of year – in the upper 50s and lower 60s. We remain seasonable for the beginning of the weekend with plenty of sunshine.
We enter a relatively unstable pattern for the first week of November. Light showers are possible on Sunday before a brief dry period on Monday. We’re tracking another cold front on Election Day that will bring in more chances for rain. Temperatures towards the end of next week will fall to the lower 60s from the mid 70s earlier in the week.
